They have a lot of gluten free items to choose from you will thoroughly enjoy yourself
We were in on Sat around noon. We put our name on the list but hey forgot us and seated several people that came after us before we inquired. We had lunch items which were just OK but I have a feeling breakfast might be the better choice. We were starving so we ordered fries and they came out pretty quickly but were not fully cooked and were soggy. Very busy, very tight, very crowded and quite loud if you're trying to have a conversation. Make a reservation if you can for sure.
Marinated White Anchovies on toast are simply amazing 😻
Very nice menu, great sauces and vinaigrettes. Lovely atmosphere. Vibrant without being loud (we sat in the front of the restaurant). Reasonably priced and good service.
The restaurant is very clean and modern. Fast, friendly service. The food was delicious. I definitely recommend the eggs Benedict for sure.
Delicious food, excellent service, interesting atmosphere.
The quality and presentation of the food is pretty well. The waiter was nice and the food was priced well for new years menue. I would say try it yourself to be your own judge.....
Host is disrespectful. Got a bit of an eye roll and annoyance when I asked for a table for one. Waited 10 minutes before anyone acknowledged my presence...because the host failed to give me a menu.
Nice atmosphere and good wine
Great atmosphere, good food presentation, but slightly over priced for the taste
Average and nothing more. The mussels were just ok, the seafood was not so exciting and the compote fruits were dry
Food is nothing special, overpriced. Coctails highly not recommended. Restaurant looks like it is stucked at 70’s . If is not located at Georgetown nobody ever visit this spot. Generally very unpleasant experience with this place.
It was my first time in this restaurant and I really enjoyed it. The fettuccine was very good and the red wine too. The place has a nice decoration and the waiters are friendly.
Nice place with good customer service. A little pricey, but very nice atmosphere, and the food was delicious. Some of the servers were a little impersonal, but again I would still give a good rating for service.
Great atmosphere but I found the food to be quite bland. I had pistachio soup and ahi tuna salad there and both of them were rather bland. The soup was unexpectedly citrusy and that flavor overwhelmed the entire bowl. The salad part of the ahi tuna salad was alright but it was my very first time when I couldn't finish all the... What seems to be perfectly good pieces of fish because they just have no flavor. The location is great and atmosphere is nice for a date. Georgetown as usual is hard to reach by public transport but you can eat at the cafe and then walk down to the waterfront. As for me, I don't believe I'll ever go back there. The food is just not worth it.
Had the Peacock omelette and a side of fries! Staff was amazing. I have to change my reservation twice and they were very accommodating. I would go back! Parking is also conveniently located. Two paid parking garages and of course street parking is available.
Amazing sunny Sunday . It was the perfect Sunday to have brunch outside of the excellent sunny day . I enjoyed the ambiance with my friends and I had mozzarella tomatoes which was yummy and my friends had salmon burger which has an excellent taste . Also I recommend there smoothies.
Thanks Shaha and family for taking care of the neighbors. We love this spot. Just like a second home.
Very pleasant and safe during Covid, lovely french toast and salmon omlet, will be coming back!
Simple yet delicious brunch items, nice drinks, attentive and polite service, and pleasant ambiance. All that you would want in a Sunday brunch spot in Georgetown.
Wonderful neighborhood restaurant near the waterfront. Lots of delicious healthy options on the menu and less expensive than most of the waterfront dining options. Highly recommend sitting outside on a nice spring or fall day.
First time eating there, I have to say their food was excellent, fresh and so tasty. The only other time I had Mediterranean Bronzino's so fresh on this side of Atlantic was at Eataly NYC Flatiron. Staff were professional and friendly, definitely a must if you are in Georgetown and want to have a great night.
What a delicious dinner and the wait staff was impressive with just the right amount of attention at the right times. The wine list was well appointed and the desert was heavenly. Beyond the food and drink the atmosphere and lighting was well suited for a date night or a girls night out...the next time I am in DC I will return to eat outside in the courtyard which was closed due to earlier rain.
Peacock Cafe is a great spot for brunch. We were promptly greeted and seated by the host. The menu offers many options from pancakes to vegetarian chili. We started our meal with a fresh juice drink from the Peacock Cafe Juice Bar. We ordered the Sun Rise and the Power of ‘C’. The drinks are served in a chilled glass but you can request ice on the side if necessary. The drinks were refreshing. We followed the drinks with our entree orders which arrived within ten minutes. The Breakfast Croissant was really tasty. The Omelette of Egg White was DELIGHTFUL! I added lump crab meat and mozzarella cheese. Although the crab meat was fresh and delicious the additional ingredients were not necessary because the black bean relish, fresh spinach and roasted peppers packed a punch of flavor. I really enjoyed my experience at Peacock Cafe.
Amazing customer service and delicious food.
The best persian restaurant in Dc
Nice place with nice food. Nice date restaurant. Try the harvest fettuccini.
This place has a high class atmosphere I love. Go here for dinner, dressed well, and your experience will be complete. The servers are pleasant and helpful. The food is great. The drinks are great.
Pleasant surprise.Lunch was not too crowded.Highly reccomend.
I found this place last minute as a spot where we could grave a bite and take our dog, Cooper. I wasn’t expecting much since it was such a last minute fond, but I really enjoyed everything about Peacock Café!My dad and I split the calamari as an appetizer and we really enjoyed it! It’s the perfect size to split between two hungry guys. I ended up getting the grilled chicken as my entree and I was thoroughly impressed! It was moist and tender throughout, and the fries made a great pair! As far as my dog’s experience goes, I’m sure he had a blast! Our waiter kindly provided Cooper (our dog) with a water bowl which he desperately needed after his walk around DC. Cooper also got to taste some really great calamari and chicken (not from the table, of course). I’d 100% give this place a try! The patio seating is comfortable and serene. The food is great and so is the service!
This is a hidden gem. Wide menu. Can usually get a table. Delicious dinner. And service has much improved in last several months to be very good! Hidden gem in Georgetown.
Fabulous lunch at a sunny outdoor table. This restaurant continues to impress us with the service and quality of the ingredients. Amazing meal!
We had a great time at Peacock Cafe. I was happy to see that others had children with them when we entered, as we wanted a family dinner. The decor was great as there was mood lighting, nice artwork, and just a great looking restaurant. There was outside seating, but on a cool, rainy evening, everyone was inside. The waiter was nice and knowledgeable, and someone who appeared to be one of the Chefs came out to bring our appetizers and our meal. He was impressed a 10 year old ordered the curry lamb burger and came back after we ate to ask how everything was and tell the 10 year old that he was impressed with his palette. :) I would go back. The tropical margaritas were great, the calamari, nachos, and arugula salad was great, and our entrees - salmon, curry lamb burger, and jambalaya was delicious!
Great service, food and wine/beer selection. Grouper was amazing. Sat outside. Very concerned with safety during Covid.
I had a lovely lunch with my girlfriends here and the wait staff and hostess was super attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. There is also a pretty extensive drink list! Nice spot!
Great food! Excellent service! I'll be back!
Fantastic food and service as always! So glad t0o be back at Peacock Cafe!
Great food and drinks! Love the French fries!
The art is wonderful & gives off good vibes. The service is good & the food is nice too. The reason I am giving them a 4 instead of a 5 is because of how tight the space is not very accessible. If you're driving, there is a super convenient parking garage next door.
Amazing place brought my dog a water bowl with ice also great service very friendly also private but right off amazing shopping!
Dog Friendly Restaurant. I like here for not only they can accept dog (in Patio), but tastes are amazing. We visited on lunchtime, but we wish to take dinner. Highly recommend.
The waffles with banana and walnut syrup was delicious! Wish I got the chance to try more before we left town!
had lunch here with Andrew Heaton and George Will. everything was amazing.
Lovely neighborhood spot. We live around the corner and visit every chance we get. Perfect for brunch and dinner. The staff is amazing and that’s reflected in how long they’ve worked for the company. Food and atmosphere are top notch. Shaab and the crew are amazing.
Stopped in for a quick break while doing some shopping in Georgetown. Nice cocktail menu and wine list. Drinks were well made. Had some nachos, which were awesome. Definitely going to come back for dinner soon!
We are in a pandemic currently, walking through georgetown with my mask on to get a small walk in and I see people sitting outside the restaurant eating and being closer than 6 feet together, at 3 tables with none of them having any face masks between them.
Ate here last night. Phenomenal. Off the beaten path a little and totally worth it. Had a Bourgogne Pinot Noir, Calamari and Cajun Chicken Salad. Highly recommend.
Great place. We got the prefix dinners. Delicious. Jessica our server went above and beyond to accommodate our 2 year old daughter..she made her day. Great food. Very family friendly. I would give 10 stars if I could.
Really good food, impeccable service, home family atmosphere.
Best restaurant experience in DC! The food is amazing!
